Color Guard

The Color Guard is a section of the marching band and provides the visual aesthetic and interpretation to marching band productions. Utilizing flags, rifles, sabres and props, the guard engages the audience through choreography to bring the musical element to life.

Our members begin a rigorous training schedule from May through July learning dance and equipment technique and combinations. From August through October, the color guard joins the Wakeland High School Marching Band and Percussion to learn their competitive field production.
